I booked a portrait session with a local photographer during a very special period in my life when I felt extremely proud of myself. At the end of the session, as I was thanking the photographer for her time, she paused and said, 'You should be a photographer.' I was taken aback and told her I didn't even know how to operate a camera. She responded, 'The camera skills are something you can learn, but you are natural at directing and making people feel good and comfortable, and those skills are the hardest to acquire.' Those few sentences changed my life forever.Outside of photography, I have a few passions. I love to hike, taking in the beauty of nature and the peace it brings.
